Repurposed mens shirt to dress.

While looking on the web I came across this blog www.danamadeit.com and had to make one for my baby. Dana is very creative and I like her work a lot. So, here we go!

This is the first one that I made from one of my husbands old shirts. I was too excited that I started cutting before I took the photos, so I had to put the cutaway back in place to capture the (before).

I used one of my baby's dress as a guide to cut out the right size.

 I then made the sleeves which I had some trouble with getting the right shape. I should have just gotten a sleeve from one of my patterns and go with that. Well...you live and you learn.

Here is the finished product.
